The Last Post-Tilly And The Wall-Coughing Colours

This is one of my favourite songs sang by Tilly And The Wall. I usually listen to this song when I’m writing because the rhythm is so smooth and simple. Sometimes I just want to forget all the assignments I have and just want to have a couple of coffee and enjoy the music I love.

Cold Stone

Yesterday my sister asked me if I want to go to Taichung or not. She wanted to take me to an ice cream shop called “Cold Stone”. “Cold Stone” are only available in Taichung and Taipei. I always love ice cream. Therefore, I decided to go to Taichung and had a taste of ice cream. After attending Japanese class, I went to Taichung by train. My sister took me to “Cold Stone” which is in Tiger City located in Taichung City. We ordered “Founder’s favourite” and “Berry Berry Berry Good”. The ice creams that we ordered were very sweet and looked alluring. When I had a taste of it, I was eager to have another bite. “Founder’s favourite” contained sweet cream ice cream, pecans, brownies, fudge and caramel. “Berry Berry Berry Good” contained sweet cream ice cream, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Every ice cream had its’ unique names. In “Cold Stone”, they call every ice cream they serve a “Creation”-because each one is a work of art. You can always create your ice cream based on endless combinations-fruits, nuts, candy, cookies, brownies…and so on. Once you tried it, you’ll never forget it. My sister also took me to Feng Jia night market. All in all, it was an unforgettable night to me.

Requiem for a Dream

I once watched a movie-“Requiem For A Dream” which was one of my favourite movies. I was really shocked by this movie, because it had many scary but meaningful plots. This movie was about four people who quested for their satisfaction in life. It should be great to chase dreams. However, when it comes to drugs, everything changed. All of them thought that they could get what they want by using drugs or selling drugs. In the end, they lost more than what they got. Drug abuse is still a problem around the world. Once you’re hooked, it will be hard for you to quit. The best way to avoid drugs is not to touch it.

Life

Christmas is just around the corner. Phoebe told me that there is a big event in Tung Hai University since Tung Hai is a catholic school. Everyone will sing carols and celebrate together. I’ve never been to Hung Hai University before, and I’m really looking forward to that day coming. It is said that there will be a lot of people gathering together in Hung Hai University. I really want to take part in this kind of feast once in my life. However, I don’t know how to be there. I think I really have to come up with a solution about the transportation first.

Life

My sister is really good at saving money. However, recently, I found out that my sister is also good at investment. Today she told me that she made a ten-thousand-NT dollars profit by investing a fund. I was so impressive by her sagacious view. I asked her who taught you how to invest. Her answer was that I learned it by myself. I knew that my sister always buys finance related magazine but I didn’t know that she does have the courage to make investment all by herself. Therefore, I decided to ask my sister to help me make investment. Although I didn’t have any deposit right now, I wanted to save part of my salary bit by bit. In the end, I’ll save enough money to travel in the very near future.

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven

Today my brother introduced me a song-“Tears in heaven” which was sang by Eric Clapton. My brother told me that Eric Clapton wrote this song because he wanted to remember his son. Eric Clapton had his son in old age. However, his son died by accident when he was only 4 years old. At that time, Eric Clapton nearly cracked up. Therefore, in order to mourn for his son, he wrote this song. Actually, when I listened to this song, I felt that the rhythm is quite simple. Although the song didn’t have complex composition or guitar fingering, the lyrics is very touched and meaningful. I always appreciate all kinds of songs that show personal emotions. That’s why songs got its’ soul and meaning.

Life

It has been a couple of weeks that I didn’t go to tennis club. The main reason was that I really hated the finite tennis courts. When I went to tennis club, I had to line up and waited for a long time in order to have only 5 forehands. It really upset me. Everyone had to share the tennis courts with others. It was really inconvenient. My suggestions was that if there were really a lot of people who enjoyed playing tennis, the principal of tennis club should also open up the hard tennis court if possible, not just the clay tennis court. Therefore, we could all enjoy the excitement that tennis brought to us.

Life

I really enjoy listening to music when no one is around. I like lying down on my mother’s bed and staring at the ceiling, being alone in my room at very late night or even sitting in the closet. Those are the ways that I enjoy the music, no any sound, just my heart beats and the music. Sometimes, I will cry because the lyrics are so touched or the songs make me remind of something. When I listen to music, it always makes me clam down and reduce my pressure. It was said music can pure our mind, and I always believe it.
